What’s your name? Where do you work?

My name is Noam Mendelson and I work at Mindspace.

Your most embarrassing sales story

My most embarrassing story probably I was sitting in an office with someone, and I guess they had some bad tacos for lunch or something and they had horrible horrible gas and had no shame, they were just letting it fly and it was absolutely horrible.

Your best sales tip

My best sales tip, honestly, I think it’s a general tip, it could be for sales, it could be for anything, it’s just, you know, never stop, keep pushing forward, you’ll close that deal if you think you’re gonna close that deal, so it’s having that right mindset, that positive mindset and not having anything bring you down from that mindset.

The worst sales mistake

The thing that you should avoid the most is just doubting yourself and your capabilities. You need to make sure that you do your homework, and you come prepared, and that you are ready. So just be confident, and I think that not having confidence is one of the worst enemies.

The most genius move you did to save a deal

The best thing that I’ve ever did was, I built this relationship with this person over a certain amount of time, we talked about what we love doing in our free time and I knew he was a big fan of soccer and of cigars, so I sent him a box of Cuban cigars and a ticket to go see a football match. That pretty much closed it.

The thing you like the most about sales

Oh, yeah, this is a good one. It’s the chase, it’s the hunt,it’s bringing big revenue into the company, making a difference, seeing your contributions push the company forwardand that’s what it’s all about for me.

I can tell you right now, what everyone is eating, in Tel Aviv, around the world, are Walnuts. And honestly, not only it’s the biggest trend and you know, you want to keep up with that, but also, it will also make sure that you have a long healthy life due to all of its nutritional benefits.
